To My Faithful Reader(s)....

So, I really just wanted to see if anybody still loves me, and I am glad to find that someone does. :)

So many things that aren't going on right now, I really don't know what to talk about. I find that rather sad and irritating...but that is just how life decides to go sometimes. I can say that I am still enjoying my job at borders, and that I finally got a second job with the office that is across the hallway from my mom's at Boise State. YAY! I really love my job at borders, but I am glad that I will have a job that will provide me constant hands on work. Like working on a computer or filing or other fun and amazing things like that, that I find oddly exciting and amusing.

Other than that, I don't have anything that is really blog worthy to post. I will soon I am sure, but I am just not up to being my usual exciting and story telling self today. To be totally honest I am actually feeling really lazy and boring. Not sure if I like this feeling, but I am really enjoying it, and am very happy that I don't feel this way very often.

Lazy=Failure

But I must go and continue writing my amazing story, and talking to people...nothing has changed there.

Um...

I feel like I should update this, but I don't know if anyone is really reading it. I hope you are, but who knows...cuz I don't. So yeah, if I should continue writing, please tell me. If not, remain silent...still.

I know right?

Ugh, the cursed phrase that I seem to be hearing more and more on campus. I don't understand the appeal of it. I doesn't really mean anything, and its grammatical value is insignificant. Setting that aside, I really am having a lot of fun this semester.
It seems like I am really engrossed in my schooling now. I was worried when I started the semester that I would just get bored with my classes and stop attending. Thankfully I have stayed with them long enough to allow their tentacles to grab hold of me. (Why they have tentacles is beside me...) I am really really enjoying my french class, and I know that I will be continuing it in the future. I love it so much, I just wish that I knew more and could speak it more often. As for my English class, I just love it. Mainly because of the people who are taking it with me and the different views they bring to the classroom. It is a work shopping class, so a good majority of our time is spent talking about various short stories. What could be improved upon them, and what we liked about them. I am supposed to turn mine in on October 6Th and I am super excited to write it. I think it will be really good, or at least I hope it will be. Maybe when I have it revised and neat I will post it on here. Hmmm, my government class is kind of like a large pill that I am supposed to swallow. It takes forever to get down my throat, but once I am done, I feel so much better. (I think that this metaphor is kind of odd, actually it is really odd, but alas my brain has shut down for the weekend)
I wish that I could take the time to really talk about my life right now, but my life has decided to take over so what time I do have, I usually spend it sleeping. i will in fact keep up with this blog though, because I don't get to see all of you hardly ever, which makes me sad.
But. I need to work on other things which claim my attention. *sigh* alas I leave and part company with you for the time being.

Farewell and soon we shall meet again.

Tada!

So, it has pretty much been forever since I have written on this blog, but I thought that it would be a good idea to update everyone on my life thus far in its progression.
Let's see, over the summer I worked for the Idaho Foodbank and it was pretty much the best job I have ever had, and probably will ever have. I got to serve free lunches to kids in need at Ann Morrison park. Pretty much they were all sweet and all my favorite.
I could talk about this forever, but I really want to talk about my semester this year. I have officially changed my major from Mechanical Engineering to double majoring in English with emphasis in Technical Communication and Writing. It is the best decision that I could have made and I love it, so that is what I am going to continue to pursue.
I am taking a technical communication class and a fiction writing class. Both are interesting in their own way, but I really enjoy fiction writing so much better. Besides these two English classes, I am taking Early American History and French 101.
Parlez-vous francais? Oui, Je suis beaucoup!

I love it so much, maybe later in the semester I will try to write an entire blog entry in french...hmmm that could be lots of fun.

But I am actually going to be on my way, for I have a French study session I need to go to. So fare thee well, and enjoy the music! :)

The Compiled Thoughts of an Earthly Genius and a Plutonian Sky

The TRUE Story behind the events of the ninth day, of the tenth month, of the seventh year, of the twenty first-century, of the planet Earth, located in the Milky Way-

So pretty much in a wonderfully random collection of twisted boredom, pitiful eating habits, suspenseful thrillers, and extensive aerobic exercise the wonderfully devious Plutonian Spy (a.k.a Rachel) and her sidekick the Earthly Genius (Jeff has a high opinion of himself) have been pretty busy. To head off their many adventures they first went to a deadly poisonous discussion on the Deep Dark, nearly fell asleep, read a government book, texted Kadie, brushed up on ASL skills, and proceeded to endure the relentless attacks of the Deep Dark SIDE!!! Then after enduring an hour and a half of brain-washing critics and defending against their constant attacks on the minds of our youth our heroes succeeded in defeating the Deep Dark Side! And left the meeting discreetly out the side exit.

To commence with the evening our heroes then rushed on to meet the next foe FIVE O’CLOCK TRAFFIC!!! Revving the engine of the a truck that was new MAYBE before the last ice age, our heroes sped on to their destination and got in the SLOWEST lane of traffic no thanks to the lacking skills of the sidekick Earthling. After racing past various perilous circumstances our heroes pulled into the home of the infamous Barnes family. Known head-quarters of the fatally magnanimous Chocolate Cookie Duo. Our hero the amazing Plutonian Spy endured the relentless lessons of the chief male cook while the sidekick commenced in cleaning his nuclear waste pit of a room. Upon succeeding in both endeavors our heroes replenished their bodies by consuming pulverized particles of earth creatures and the tortured remains of starchy substances.

Upon receiving their nourishment our heroes went off to fight “The Dark” found in Theater 4 down-town Edwards. The Dark was featured in the film “The Seeker” and was a magnificent production that constantly kept our heroes clutching their seats in suspense. Upon finishing the film our heroes attempted to race up the stairs of an 8 floor building hoping to defeat each other in a race to the top since no other enemies could be found. The pitiful excuse of an Earthling Genius Sidekick then proceeded to trick our gorgeous hero the Plutonian Spy by making her carry the multi-gallon tank of beverage forcing her to lug it up the stairs and thus lose.

SO pretty much we’ve been pretty busy!!

The More in Depth Depositions of an Earthly Genius-

It all started when they attended the panel of The Deep Dark, the extremely mind numbing novel about the Kellogg mine fire. You would think something that exciting would make a great story….well only an old guy that kept referencing his personal myspace page (creepy silence!!!)….weird huh? Anyways, our friend the Genius was very grateful for the companionship of his friend The Plutonian Spy who kept him company…other than her constant focus on her Government homework……HAH it all makes sense now…(sorry the narrator had a genius’ epiphany…will explain later)

….ummm…oh yes, his partner in crime…wait I mean fellow HERO OF THE YEAR was also texting their fellow hero The Monkey Queen, after a few comments back and forth between the two of them…they decided to leave the mind dulling panel with Byron and his own opinions (will elaborate later) early would satisfy their craving for food Unfortunately the evil spirits that possess the streets of downtown Boise had other plans. To them, if the Heroes were stalled in the middle of 5 o’clock traffic, they would starve to death. But there was no need to worry….or fear rather…The Earthly Genius has a stomach of steel to break down starches, lipids, and proteins for his overly large brain…As for the Plutonian Spy, she had had her share of fruit and rice cakes (again, will elaborate later…..hopefully)

Finally upon reaching the Genius’ house for nourishment (a.k.a. dinner) they proceeded to unlock the mysteries of gems in a mine…not related to The Deep Dark. Unfortunately a robot confounded their plan and distracted them… Hopelessly lost (the Genius couldn’t find his car keys) they had to resort to parental keys….UGH!!!...anyways they entered the amazing red automobile “with a/c and good music” and headed downtown for an unknown movie…Previous to this moment while trying to unlock the secrets of “the gateway” the two found a movie possibly worthy of their intellect. The Seeker: The Dark is Rising. This movie was well worth their effort. (It is a must for everyone) The Plutonian Spy says so, and the Genius says the numbers really do add up, that means that it is a good movie.

After leaving mentally satisfied and adrenaline amplified (they jumped in their seats like 25 times) the two Heroes decided to race up the 8 flights of stairs the parking garage held. Secretly wanting to be the first to the top (they were the only car parked on the top,…and the 3 levels below as well….) the earthly Genius was holding the 64 oz. orange Fanta drink, and didn’t want to run with it. So, using his excessive brain power, he pulled a fast one on the Plutonian Spy and faked a leg injury, got her to take the bait (the drink) and thus beat her to the top
…And thus ends our heroes’ adventures for the night, and the encapsulation of them into cyberspace.
